In order to reduce road congestion in Shanghai and improve traffic order, passenger cars with license plates from other provinces and cities are prohibited from driving on Shanghai’s elevated highways (expressways) and ground roads within the inner ring. Restricted vehicles: Passenger cars with license plates from other provinces and cities

Restricted times: Monday to Friday 07:00-20:00( 13 hours in total)

Restricted range: (1) Yan'an Elevated Road (the section east of the Outer Ring Expressway)
